ED attaches assets worth Rs 13.63cr in illegal coal mining case

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday mentioned it has hooked up two properties at Gopinathpur in West Bengal to the tune of Rs 13.63 crore of Indo-American Electricals Restricted in unlawful coal mining case underneath the provisions of the PMLA.

The agency is beneficially owned by LTB Infra advisor Pvt. Ltd. wherein Trinamool Congress chief Vinay Mishra and his brother Vikas Mishra are administrators and shareholders.

The Mishras delivered proceeds of crime of Rs 731 crore with the assistance of enterprise associates of Anup Majhi a.okay.a. Lala from July, 2018 to March, 2020.

On this case, Enforcement Case Data Report was recorded on November 28, 2020 on the idea of CBI case.

Earlier, the ED had carried out searches at 56 premises and hooked up belongings to the tune of Rs 204.64 crore.

Three individuals have been arrested by the ED thus far and a prosecution criticism was filed on Might 13, 2021.
