The Minerals Fee will roll out Minerals and Mining Rules to trace all earthmoving machines and gear utilized in mining.

The Minister for Lands and Pure Sources, Mr Samuel Abu Jinapor, who introduced this at a press briefing in Accra, disclosed that the operation and management room for the monitoring of the mining machines and gear can be prepared by the top of August 2022.

He mentioned the Ministry has revamped the Group Mining Schemes and developed an Operational Guide to advertise accountable and environmentally-sound small scale mining.
