NEGAUNEE, MI – Karen Joyce Tammelin, 68, of Carr St., Negaunee, handed away at dwelling on Tuesday, July nineteenth, 2022.
Karen was born October twenty sixth, 1953, in Ishpeming, to Vilho and Norma (Robare) Tammelin and attended Negaunee Public Faculties. She was a longtime Licensed Nursing Assistant through the years she lived in Wisconsin.
In her spare time, Karen loved being outside strolling and being across the water. She liked being along with her sisters at rummage gross sales and having fun with a cup of espresso. Karen liked visits along with her household, particularly her beloved grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Michelle (Brody DeMarte) LaForest of Appleton; a son, Johnny Armitage of Marquette; three grandchildren, Layne, Ellie and Dante DeMarte; her brother, Allan Tammelin of Sands Twp.; three sisters, Diana (Paul) Sandstrom of Ishpeming, Debbie (Bob) Rowe of Ishpeming and Terri Beaudin of Negaunee; a brother-in-law, Jim Farley; and quite a few nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in loss of life by her dad and mom; her sisters, Peggy Farley and Gerry Pillow; brother-in-law, Louis Beaudin, Jr.; and a nephew, Kristopher Tammelin.
