Sensex climbs 630 factors, Nifty settles above 16,500

Nifty Midcap 50 ended flat closing at 7,906.65 factors

On Wednesday, the benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices witnessed a surge, extending their successful streak for the fourth day in a row. The Sensex jumped 1.14% to 55,397.53 factors whereas the Nifty climbed 1.09% to 16,520.85 factors.
